It was a dark blustery night...........

at the camp out. The boys headed out on friday afternoon for a campout with lots of other dads and kiddos. It ended up being a very windy night as a cold front moved through. Jay said they couldn't do much because if you weren't sitting in your chair it would blow away so all the dads and the little men hunkered down in their tents at about 8:oo and were pretty much forced to try to get some sleep. Cohen had othere plans.....He talked Jays ear off as they played with the flashlight, ate snacks, and got silly for the camera. Thankfully Cohen eventually went to sleep and they made it through the night without blowing away or freezing to death. They were so ready to get warm in the morning that they packed up and headed home fairly early. Maybe next year the weather will cooperate a little better but it was a great experience for my boys and hopefully a new longstanding tradition. Althoug wehn they got home Cohen said "I wanna go camping with you mommy" so the pressure is on!
